Frequently Asked Questions
Created by Time is my way of sharing what I’ve seen, felt, and learned through the lens – out in nature, at sea, in silence, and in stillness.
After years of chasing light and exploring the raw edges of the world, I’ve come to believe that the most meaningful things in life can’t be rushed. They unfold slowly – shaped by time.
Through Created by Time, I offer fine art canvas prints of my photography, delivered unframed in eco-conscious tubes.
These are not mass-produced prints. They are crafted with care on museum-grade canvas using archival inks – made to last, not to fade.
Not the cheapest. Not the fastest. But made to endure – like the moments they capture.
Each print comes with a signed certificate of authenticity – including the coordinates of where it was captured, a short story, and a reminder of its origin.
This project is about more than images.
It’s an invitation to slow down, reconnect with nature, and rediscover the beauty in moments we often overlook.
Each canvas print is crafted using the exclusive Hahnemühle Cézanne Canvas – a museum-grade canvas made by 100% cotton, 430 gsm, natural white without optical brighteners, with a finely woven texture and premium matte coating. Acid- and lignin-free, ISO 9706 conform, it guarantees brilliant colors, deep blacks – trusted by professional artists and photographers around the world.
We work with professional print studios using fine art-grade printers, archival inks, and premium canvas. Each image is carefully prepared and reviewed before printing to preserve every detail and nuance of the original photograph.
Every print is individually inspected before it leaves the studio – because we believe that what’s created by time deserves to be treated with care.
All canvas prints are delivered with a gallery-style wraparound layout, designed for mounting on a 40 mm deep wooden stretcher frame. This means the image continues around the edges for a clean, modern look once framed.
In addition, there’s a 5 cm white margin around the entire canvas to make stretching and framing easier – whether you do it yourself or take it to your local professional.
No — our fine art canvas prints are shipped rolled in a protective tube, unframed. Each print is prepared with extended margins for wrap-around mounting on a 40 mm wooden stretcher frame.
This reduces packaging, lowers transport impact, and allows you to have the canvas professionally mounted locally, supporting your local art studio while ensuring a gallery-quality finish.
Sure! Some images can be adapted to different formats. Please reach out thru our contact page and we’ll see what’s possible.
Every print comes with a certificate of authenticity – including the title, coordinates of where the image was taken, and a short story. A way to honor the image and its origin.
All images are captured by me, during quiet moments in nature – often in the Nordic landscapes I’ve explored for years. From remote coastlines and mountain ridges to still forests and open sea, each location holds its own story.
Every print includes the coordinates of where the photograph was taken, along with a short note about the place and the moment.
Because knowing where it comes from is part of what makes it meaningful.
Most artworks are available in square formats – 40×40 cm and 60×60 cm – while some are offered in panoramic versions. All dimensions are clearly stated with each print.
By default, we ship all canvas prints unframed and rolled in a protective tube — this reduces packaging waste, lowers shipping emissions, and keeps costs down. However, if you would like to receive your artwork pre-stretched on a wooden frame and ready to hang, we are happy to help. Simply contact us, and we will provide a personal quote based on your location and framing preference.
Please note:
Framed delivery involves higher shipping costs and a greater environmental impact.
Framing locally remains the greener choice — and it allows you to select a finish that best suits your space while supporting your local framer or art studio.
Each artwork is printed on high-quality canvas and delivered rolled in a protective tube. This reduces environmental impact and lets you choose the frame that best suits your space.
Our canvas are usually produced within 5 to 7 business days. Delivery time depends on your location and can vary between 1 to 3 weeks. Within Sweden it normally takes 1–3 days after production. In advance we would like to thanks you for your patience.

Canvas prints are made to last decades, but a little care goes a long way.
– Hang your print away from direct sunlight to prevent fading over time.
– Avoid humid environments like bathrooms, unless the space is well-ventilated.
– Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth – no chemicals or sprays needed.
If you’re storing the print before framing, keep it rolled in its original tube in a dry place.
With mindful care, your print will stay beautiful for many years – quietly reminding you of the moment it captures.
If something goes wrong during shipping – send us a photo of the damage and we’ll arrange a replacement asap.
Since every print is made to order, we currently don’t accept returns. But we want you to be happy – so please reach out if something doesn’t feel right.
Each artwork is printed on demand.

That said, we always want you to feel confident and cared for.

Right of Withdrawal for Made-to-Order Items (e.g. fine art prints produced on demand)
For online purchases, customers normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal, starting the day after receiving the item.
However there is an Exception regarding custom made products, like the prints on this website.
If your order is produced specifically for you — for example, a canvas print made after your purchase in a chosen motif or size — the right of withdrawal does not apply. This rule applies to all items made to your personal specifications.
To meet the exception, the following must be true:
The product is unique or tailored to your selections.
You were informed about this before placing your order (e.g. in Terms & Conditions, cart, or order confirmation).
You actively agreed that production begins immediately, thereby waiving the right of withdrawal (for example, by ticking a box at checkout).
Example, as stated in our Terms & Conditions:
“Please note that our canvas prints are made to order and considered custom made items.
According to the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the right of withdrawal does not apply to such products.
By completing your purchase, you consent to production beginning immediately, which means the right of withdrawal does not apply.”
