They are not meant to feel restrictive, but reassuring. A clear framework allows creativity, trust, and inspiration to grow freely. When expectations are understood, the experience becomes more enjoyable, more personal, and more meaningful.
By spending time with our images and products, we hope you feel at home — calm, curious, and welcome. These terms simply help ensure that this feeling remains intact, now and over time.

1. About these terms (Last updated: 251010)

These terms apply to all purchases made at createdbytime.com.
By placing an order, you accept these terms and confirm that you have read and understood the information provided before completing your purchase.

All artworks are created and produced by Created by Time, a Nordic fine art brand focused on limited edition photography printed on museumgrade materials.

2. Orders & production

All artworks are made to order — printed individually when your order is placed.
Production time is normally 3–7 working days before dispatch.
You will receive an order confirmation by e-mail as soon as your purchase is completed.

3. Prices, VAT & payment

All prices are shown in EUR and include Swedish VAT (25%) for customers within the European Union (EU).
For orders shipped outside the EU, local taxes, import VAT and customs duties may apply and are the responsibility of the customer.

Accepted payment methods include credit/debit card and secure online payment via our payment provider such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Prices and availability are subject to change.

4. Shipping & delivery

We offer free shipping within the European Union (EU).
For deliveries outside the EU (such as Norway, Switzerland, the United Kingdom or Iceland), a shipping fee will apply.
Shipping costs are displayed at checkout.

Delivery time is typically 3–7 working days within the EU, and may vary depending on destination and customs clearance.
Tracking information is provided when available.

5. Customs & import (non-EU deliveries)

Deliveries to non-EU countries may be subject to customs duties, import VAT and brokerage fees collected by the carrier upon delivery.
These charges are not included in the purchase price and are the responsibility of the customer.
Customs processing times may also affect delivery dates.

6. Right of withdrawal & returns

1). Your rights as a customer

For online purchases within the EU, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal starting from the day after receiving your order.

2). Exceptions for made-to-order items

Because all artworks are produced on demand, they are considered custom-made items under EU consumer law. This means the right of withdrawal does not apply to these products. By completing your purchase, you consent to production starting immediately, waiving your right of withdrawal.

3). Defects or damages

If your artwork arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@createdbytime.com.
Attach photos of the product and packaging, along with your order number, and we will arrange a replacement or refund.

7. Damages, loss & inspection

Please inspect your parcel upon delivery.
If the packaging is visibly damaged, ask the carrier to record this before signing or accepting delivery.
Photograph both the packaging and the item and contact us within 7 days.
Lost or severely delayed parcels will be replaced or refunded once the carrier’s investigation is complete.

8. Materials, colors & framing

All artworks are printed on archival-grade fine art media such as Hahnemühle Cézanne Canvas or Hahnemühle Photo Rag, using pigment-based inks for museum-quality longevity.

Slight color variations may occur due to screen calibration or the natural texture of materials.
To reduce environmental impact, many artworks are shipped rolled in protective tubes, intended for local framing.
We provide framing recommendations with your order to ensure the best possible result.

9. Intellectual property

All images, texts and designs on this website are the intellectual property of Created by Time and are protected by copyright law.
No reproduction, modification or commercial use is permitted without written consent.

10. Privacy & cookies

We respect your privacy.
Personal data is handled according to GDPR and used solely to process orders and improve customer experience.

11. Liability & force majeure

Created by Time cannot be held responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control — such as natural disasters, strikes, transport disruptions, or force majeure events. In such cases, we will inform you promptly and do our best to minimize any inconvenience.

12. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by Swedish law.
Disputes may be referred to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) in Sweden or the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform (ODR). We always strive to resolve any issue directly with our customers in a fair and personal manner.
